Have you ever wanted to cancel something on HostGator web hosting? Now, I am going to show you how to cancel HostGator package and I will tell you how easy it was. There is nothing wrong to cancel Hostgator package.  It’s not hard to cancel Hostgator, but we need to take the process properly. Let’s start.

1. If you have more than one package, first you need to know what package you want to cancel.

Within your customer dashboard, you will see at the bottom a summary of all the packages that you have the corresponding ID number of each package. In which there are details of list the primary domain, price and renewal date and more... Use this as a reference as to which package that you want to cancel.

2. Chat with Hostgator support

Click the LIVE CHAT icon located on the top right of Hostgator Support page. A Pop box open for you registering. After registered, you will contact the support (sometime you must be wait a few minuts)

The supporter may ask you a few questions, then they will process the cancellation and confirm this by opening a support ticket. 

OK, that is all you need to do to cancel HostGator Package!

3. To prevent future billing, you should to do 1 more step (In case you may have paid your fees with PayPal)

Note: 

• Hostgator has the different portal for billing. You can login that billing portal from your hosting cpanel. Then you choose the package you want to cancel. And then click on cancel hosting option. And the support will do the rest. Now, you can see it will cancel your hosting after some time.
• You need to backup all your websites, transfer domain name and cancel Adds-On first, if you cancel Hostgator account.

Now, you complete Hostgator cancel package.
