Choosing a Career in Internet Marketing

There are so many career options today.

People are free to pursue any profession of their dreams and live comfortably doing what they enjoy.

Confucius was right, "do what you enjoy and you will never have to work for a day."

Before choosing a career, there are several considerations that a person has to really mull over.

Internet marketing is one of the most dynamic and broad careers at the moment.

It attracts experts from various fields hungry to earn a living working on the internet.

The world is no longer a global village, but a global marketplace where anything is possible.

Choosing a Career in Internet Marketing

Understand the Role

When choosing a career, the most important factor you must consider is whether you understand what it entails.

Internet marketers simply take care of a company's marketing and advertising campaigns on the web, ensuring that they attain the highest possible web presence.

As an internet marketer, you will be required to increase website traffic and generate sales from the site.

It revolves around engaging various channels to meet the goals like drafting of advertising plans for the company.

Or specific products and/or services, use of email campaigns, social media networks like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and others, search engines optimizations (very important), content marketing, and many more.

For larger companies, internet marketing experts work closely with other specialists in different departments like information technology, web content, marketing and advertising and customer support.

Mode of Work

This role has very minimal, if any, movement because it is primarily done online behind a PC.

You will have to sit and use your computers for long hours to meet targets.

The beauty of it is that, choosing a career in internet marketing opens wide windows of opportunities due to its flexibility.

One can still work effectively while travelling or stuck in traffic using mobile devices like laptops, tablets or smartphones.

What Are the Qualifications?

Most employers prefer candidate with at least a bachelor's degree in fields like communication, PR, marketing, information technology and related areas of specializations.

Some marketing experience is also necessary especially if you are seeking to fill a position in a large company.

However, these requirements are not cast on stone because this job can suit anyone with a passion for the web and is willing to learn.

In reality, more than half of current internet marketers have no marketing backgrounds but they do well.

What really matters is some information technology knowledge, especially ability to effectively use a computer and knowing your way around the internet.

Personal Attributes

Just like any other marketing specialization, you have to be social.

This has nothing to do with understanding the necessity for a firm handshake but it is important that you be interactive with the web community and be able to pitch your sale in a convincing manner.

It also requires high levels of discipline, especially if you work independently without direct supervision.

Excellent communication and presentation skills when choosing a career of this nature are paramount, which is the foundation on which success in internet marketing is built.

Opportunities

Most people choosing a career worry about the availability of job opportunities in their of areas choice.

Well, there are unlimited prospects in internet marketing because the web has taken a central role on how people transact day-to-day businesses.

Other than that, you can go solo and run a successful online business with your internet marketing expertise.

In fact, there are many solo online entrepreneurs who cannot accept a job offer today, unless it is really paying well because they are running successful online ventures.

There you have it; if you are thinking about choosing a career in internet marketing, you now have the facts and can make the right decision.

Best Wishes!

Website Promotion Using Article Marketing

I see one common theme on the online webmaster forums repeatedly, everyone wants to know what method of website promotion is the one that will get their website noticed. It seems that every person who is looking to make money online has one thing in common. They are looking for something that is right in front of their face, or more commonly they are looking for something that just is not there. The fact is that you should take one or two of these forms of website promotion and learn to do it properly.

My favorite by far is article marketing, this is the single most in-expensive yet powerful method of website promotion anyone can do. That is if you advertise with articles properly. There is a basic simple science behind article marketing.

The biggest mistake I see with website promoters is that they write one or two articles, targeting the exact same keywords as their website. What sense does this make? NONE! If your website is not ranking your keywords, than what makes these people think that a article will? Simple, they were told to write some articles, and it will work.

If you are going to do website promotion using article marketing or any form of advertisement, do the proper research and learn exactly how it works. If not just hire someone to do it for you, there are freelancers all over the Internet who would be happy to do this for you. How can you be sure they know what they are doing? Bizreef.com offers a service that is much like ebay, its just services instead of products. If someone does not provide the service they promised, than you do not pay.

If you do want to learn the simple science of website promotion using article marketing, than read on. Lets say your website, or affiliate link is targeting the keyword "find a job." This is a very popular keyword that you will not even come close to ranking for with a new website. So here is where the articles come in to play.

You will first need to do some keyword research, AdWords.Google.com has a free tool that will work best for this. All you have to do is type in your main keyword, and it will give you a number of related key phrases. Copy and paste this list into a file with notepad or word pad. Take each of these keywords or key phrases and type them into the tool to get more related key terms. Then all you need to do is select the keywords with the most amount of average searches, and least amount of competition (it will show you this side each key term) you will need the best 200-300.

Now that you have the best keywords and key phrases, you can start writing or hiring writers for your articles. Target 3 to 4 keywords / key phrases with every article, including your main key phrase "find a job" with with every article as well. Now you are creating catching a traffic with a filtered funnel.

What does "filtered" mean? This means that the surfers who are just surfing from site to site will keep going, and the people who are in need of what your site has to offer, will follow through to your website.

Why do not you want the surfers? Google ranks mostly on popularity, but also ranks based on relevancy of your content to the keyword that is searched. They base your relevancy on the average time a user stays on your site, if your average user is only on your site for 30 seconds than obviously its not very relevant.

When you are submitting your articles, you will be allowed to place links in the author resource box. Normally I will post about three links here. Three? I thought we were trying to get traffic to my site, or affiliate link? Remember I said Google based rankings primarily on popularity? They base popularity on the amount of incoming links for a particular page, so place links to two of your other articles on top, and a link to your site on the bottom in a different color, or larger size if its allowed. Let them surf around for a while, they are still in your network so do not worry. After they read a couple of articles they will notice the same link, and curiosity will bring them to your site, or your affiliate link.

Tip: When creating links, put your keyword in the link ~ ex. "find a job in Chicago Illinois" that will obviously be pointing one of your other articles which targets that key term.

Tip: An example of a link to your site would be: Find a job today, we will walk you trough the process from creating your resume to successfully becoming the boss!

Tip: You can also sell these links. Webmaster are constantly looking to increase one way links to there site. Sell them for 3.00 per month (which is a steal) and you are now making $ 300 per month, which almost covers the entire cost of hiring me to set up this system for you!

Getting Started in Network Marketing and MLM

In today's fast-paced, digitally enhanced society, a home-based business is more possible now than ever before. With the internet as your right hand man, it's possible to create the most productive business you've ever been a part of. And the best part is, you can own it yourself!

I'm talking about network marketing.

"In the last 20 years, more people have become millionaires in network marketing than ANY other industry." - USA Today

What are some of the reasons people get into network marketing?

-It enables the ability to work from home, opening up your schedule for more leisure.
-For supplementary income, perhaps for a vacation fund or college fund.
-To pay off debt like: credit cards, school loans, auto loans, mortgages.
-To create enough passive income to quit their job altogether and retire wealthy as young as possible.

So can you do this? Can you become a successful network marketer? YES, of course you can!

You may be thinking to yourself,

"I already have a job, I do not have time for another one."

Great, neither did I! I was working 10 hour days, 6 days a week, pouring concrete 11,000 ft. up in the Colorado Rockies when I got started. If difficulty of work = income level, the world would be full of rich construction workers - but it is not. That's because people who work the hardest do not make the most. It's the people who work the smartest that actually make the most. I picked this concept up from Mike Dillard. The point is, you can work for someone else all your life and never get ahead. When you finally embrace network marketing and do it correctly, it does not even feel like work. And when work does not feel like work, you know you're working smart!

"Well, I'm not a good salesperson."

Neither am I! I can not stand when a salesperson comes up to me on a car lot. In fact, 95% of people feel the same way. I can teach you how to attract people to your opportunity without cold calling random people or annoying your friends and family for business. Although it is important to never rule out the people close to you. If you can offer a service of high value to them, then by all means introduce them to it. You just do not want to rely on the people close to you for the bulk of your business. You must market your business towards your target market, and adjust your marketing plan and ads as such. Then, it's smooth sailing while leads pour in automatically through the system you set up.

"Sounds too good to be true. Is network marketing one of those pyramid deals?"

Absolutely NOT! As a matter of fact, network marketing is one of the only business models in the world that does not look like a pyramid! Think of any traditional business, your boss makes more than you right? And their superior makes more than them? And so on and so forth; that sounds an awful lot like a pyramid to me. In network marketing it's not uncommon for someone to earn more than the person that recruited them. As long as your service is better, faster, and / or cheaper (in other words OF HIGH VALUE to your customers), all you have to do is market the opportunity correctly to profit.

If you're ready to work smart, offer a service or product of high value to others, and finally find a vehicle for financial freedom, then network marketing is something you need to be a part of.

Making Money on Twitter

Making Money With Twitter is certainly possible. By now everyone has heard of Twitter. It is now ranked 596 on the most visited websites in the world. It was founded by Jack Dorsey, Biz Stone, and Evan Williams. It began as a research project inside a San Francisco company Odeo in March 2006. It incorporated in 2007

The Wall Street Journal wrote, "These social-networking services elicit mixed feelings in the technology-savvy people who have been early adopters. 'too' connected, as they grapple with check-in messages at odd hours, higher cellphone bills, and the need to tell acquaints to stop announcing what they're having for dinner. "

That's how I felt when I first heard about it. Do I really want to know what people are doing during their days? Of course now that I've tried it, I love it. Its like a blog in that it gives you a chance to express yourself but you do not have to write much. You just give updates. I'm sure many people will get bored of it, but the marketers will use it to try and make money. After all, this is America, and where there is a will, there is a way to make money. I'm not talking about Twitter itself monetizing the site. I'm talking about the users making a profit while they "Tweet".

The most obvious way to make money is by putting your affiliate link inside of your posts. You do not want to overdo this because Twitter frowns on it and people realize you are just trying to sell them things. Another way to make money is to get a user name that will attract people. For instance, you could choose the name Boston Red Sox. You would probably get people, following your page, who are interested in the Boston Red Sox. Then, you could sell them things related to baseball or the Red Sox. That is a couple of methods, sometimes you can think of more

Make Money With Clickbank Now

Most affiliate marketers fail with Clickbank because of a lack of information on how to sell other peoples products. Here are 5 tips on how to make money with Clickbank.

Make Money With Clickbank Tip # 1
Always choose a product on Clickbank with a gravity of 50 or higher. Gravity tells you how popular a product is based upon how many affiliates have been successful in selling that product within the past 30-60 days. Aim for 50 or higher but beware of gravity ratings in the 250-300 range or higher. It's a great indication that the product is selling, but you can expect too much competition.

Make Money With Clickbank Tip # 2
Clickbank products offer solutions for a range of problems. If you're good in golf, clickbank offers digital information on how to improve ones golf swing. By introducing the right products and helping the audience locate a Clickbank product to their problems, you can easily earn $ 200 to $ 600 in your couple of days.

Make Money With Clickbank Tip # 3
This is important if you are selling via Pay Per Click. The general rule of thumb is on average you will get one sale per 100 clicks. If your clicks are costing you 10c and you earn $ 10 per sale, you will only break even if you get that sale. Generally look for products that pay over $ 20.

Make Money With Clickbank Tip # 4
If you do not live in United States then set your check threshold in your account on $ 50 at first ... this means that once you earned $ 50 ClickBank will send you a check. Once you receive 3 checks you may apply to have all your payments from Clickbank made as a direct deposit to your bank account. It is much quicker for international affiliates and merchants and it will save you a fee when you go to deposit your checks or cash them ...

These four simple Clickbank tips can help you on your way to making money using Clickbank.

The opportunities on the internet are endless. As we all know, the only thing holding us back is ourselves. Since you are reading this article today, I am going to take that as a positive move on your part to take the next step to implement a strategy to make money online.

Since there are many different ways to make money online with a website, I am going to touch on those I am more familiar with. All of them are quite easily implemented and once your website it set up properly, you should be generating income within weeks.

Selling Your Own Product

If you are lucky enough to have a good product to sell, you are well on your way to generating revenue. With the proper tools, you can create the right website to promote your product and get traffic to your website and hopefully sales will follow shortly thereafter.

Selling Other People's Products

When you join an affiliate program, you promote other people's products on your website and they pay you a commission on the sales you make. This is an easy way to generate income without having physical products as inventory. Most of the products in question are downloadable and done through an intermediate. As with your own product, you will still need to know how to get traffic to your site for best results.

Advertising

You can place Google ads or other ads on your website. When one of your visitors to your site clicks on one of your ads, you get paid a commission. There are strict rules to follow when doing this. Make sure you know and understand them before going this route.

Just remember to focus on learning one thing at a time. Make sure you understand what you're doing today before you go on to tomorrow's project. If you follow the proper formula for creating your website and generating traffic, you are ahead of the rest. It has been proven that those who have not taken the time to set themselves up properly will have a much greater chance of failing.

How To Make Money Fast, Really Fast!

Yes, there are literally thousands of ways to make money fast but all these methods require a lot of investment in terms of time and effort. Personally speaking, if an investment does not start to rake in profits by the third month, then it most probably will never rise up to give you six figures. So, what exactly can you do to get a high income with the least investment of time and effort? Make your own product!

The secret on how to make money fast is generating a product that you can mass market. You can either develop a simple product such as an ebook, "Guide to the Best Restaurants in Michigan" or design a program for your chosen niche (a simple equalizer for iOS works just as well as a Photoshop application, so do not overdo it ). Once again, the easy way out is to write an ebook. These ebooks need not be world class, neither do they have to talk original. Contrary to what internet marketing gurus might say, writing an eBook is much easier than you think.

An eBook should tell the reader everything about the topic in a clear, concise and meaningful manner. How hard can it be to find information regarding a niche that you have selected? Actually, it's quite hard to dig out original info to use for an ebook. Either you take a couple of months off and create such ebooks out of sheer persistence or you get a writer to do the job for you. This is the shorter route but it will be costlier in the long run and has the danger of falling much below your quality levels.

After you're done creating your product, be it an e-book or a program, it's time to start looking at potential customers. If it's your very first ebook, try not to sell it directly as people tend to distrust those whom they do not know yet. Give it for free in exchange for their email address, and start building up a list . This is without a doubt the most important part of how to make money fast. In fact, if one does not build rapport at this stage, then chances are that the customers will never even read the darn ebook.

There are many places where one can start building up their list. Forums, blogs and social media are just a few of the easiest places to broadcast your product and gather some followers. Being an authority figure always helps but you need not be expected to spread information around, especially if you can get someone else with a good reputation to market your product.

The final stage is to wait and see how your product is received before setting out on making more products to market to new customers - what you can then start charging for extra goodies - if they like your previous item. It's from the second or third product onwards that the money will start poring in (While you spend time developing a new product, market a couple of products for other entrepreneurs to earn some commission money).

Create an Economical Social Media Optimization Plan

Your Social Media Marketing campaign can be an economic component of your eMarketing strategy. As you develop and evaluate your social strategy, it's worth noting that SEO remains a key component and including your targeted terms and phrases should be a big part of creating your content.

Social Media Campaign

The first step, should be to define your strategy by asking yourself, "what is it that my business needs?" Whether it's brand awareness, more employees or more sales, it's important to know what your goals are in order to develop an effective and Economical Social Media Marketing campaign.

Once you have your strategy defined, it's then important to decide how you will evaluate your Return on Investment (ROI). A lot of people starting out, do not really understand what the ROI is in social media, and really it's a metric that is very much a reflection of what your goals are.

You can begin to measure your ROI by looking at what you have now, and then as you implement your social media plan, you can determine if certain aspects are improving. For example, you can look at how many twitter followers you have, and how many Facebook fans you have, how many mistakes and clicks you receive, etc.

One of the first things you should start doing with your campaign, is to start listening. It seems that most people who get started with social media, see it as a way to broadcast a message in a similar way that they would through other traditional outbound marketing strategies (which are interruption based). With social media, we have an opportunity to start listening to those people who are already talking about your brand and engage in conversation.

The easiest way to listen for your brand is to set up real-time search, with a Customer Relations Management tool like Hootsuite, Tweetdeck, or Sprout Social. There are other tools available, and a quick search will reveal a suitable one for your needs.

Social Media Guidelines

Once you begin to engage in conversation, its important to know how, and this can be determined by the goals you've set for your campaign. What you say, will set a tone for the conversation and be a reflection of your company image, so you may want to establish a policy that outlines limits, and the tone of messages (especially if your campaign involves a team working on your behalf) .

Track Your Results

Determine which social media marketing channels are delivering website traffic. You can do this by setting up Google Analytics, or using some of the available Social CRM tools. You can also set up alerts with Google, and get notified when your brand is mentioned.

Now you'll be able to quantify your campaign goals and collect data, like which tweets were clicked on, how many visits came from social media, which channels are performing the best / least, and so on. With Alerts, you will be able to review how and where your company is mentioned online and where possible (ie. Blogs) you can leave a comment.

Earning Money Online Without A Website

Many people are interested in earning money online but do not want to go to the hassle and expense of building a site.

They visit forums and ask "How do I earn money without a website?"

The answer is that there are a number of ways to do this, but the results are always even better if you add your own website into the mix.

Let's discuss why, then look at some potentially very profitable businesses you could launch without a website incase you're still not convinced.

Without a website you'll lose out on a number of very profitable revenue streams:

1) Branding - when you have a website you have a "central hub" of your business and customers soon get to know your domain name and where exactly where they can find you. When I want to buy a book I do not search for it in Google, I go straight to Amazon. Without their website they'd lose my business.

You can also list your website address on letters, on business cards, in articles, in directories and so on so others can quickly learn where to find you.

2) Free Traffic - without your own website it's far harder to generate free traffic from the search engines and missing out on hundreds or even thousands of potential leads each day is like throwing money down the drain. It's how I make 90% + of my monthly income and I would not be without it for the world.

3) Leverage - when you have your own website you see both repeat visitors and can leverage it by setting up your own affiliate program to draw even more visitors to it. Both of these are difficult to impossible without your own website.

4) Lead Generation - by setting up your own mailing list you can repeatedly market to the same leads and so increase the lifetime value of your leads - and make your marketing more cost-effective.

The easiest way to go about this is to set up a form on your website so people can sign up for newsletters, special offers, product updates etc. from you and this can rapidly build a list of thousands of interested people.

The other way is that the shopping cart you use on your ecommerce website can record the details of everyone who buys from you so you can market to them again in the future.

Having your own mailing list is like being able to make cash on demand. Any time you need extra money you just fire out a message to your list and wait for the sales to come in.

It's the closest thing to having a perfect business that there is.

5) Contextual Advertising - many webmasters with their own sites earn even more money each month by adding contextual advertising - such as AdSense - to their sites. However this advertising can only be placed on websites you own. None of the "website-free" businesses discussed below will allow you to indulge in this easy, cost-effective business model.

Infact, the truth of the matter is that with developments taking place at such a rate now, having your own website is either expensive, time-consuming or difficult and many services and pieces of software exist to make your own website so easy you won 't believe it.

But if you're still not convinced, here are a few businesses you * can * run without your own website ...

1) eBay - sell your own stuff or certainly buy and sell professionally on Ebay. Your reputation will grow and there are many buyers surfing for whatever you opt to sell but the most successful eBay sellers have their own websites that offer additional information and that previous customers can return to again and again.

2) Article Distribution - you can write useful, informative article like this one and distribute them through article directories. Many will be published hundreds of times across the Internet and you can include a signature file at the end of the article which can direct people to your affiliate link for a related product.

Please be aware however that having your own website will allow you to utilize free search engine visitors and so increase your results even further, and that many affiliate programs require you to have a website they can check out before you are accepted into their program.

3) Forum Marketing - the process is to usefully answer questions other people post in discussion forums and use your signature file much like in the article marketing concept to send people to an affiliate program you are a member of.

4) Freelance - many marketers use sites like Guru.com and eLance.com to find people capable of offering services of use to business people - such as article writing services, graphic design and programming and if you have saleable skills you can earn quite a reasonable living with just these third-party sites.

Sobering Our Social Media Addiction

When social media (Facebook & LinkedIn) first became popular, I thought it was an incredible medium. I continually received invites from high school friends or business contacts, Before long, I had hundreds of contacts on each site, and thought I was quite well-connected. I too, reached out to others to build my networks even more.

As an entrepreneur, I thought all the online networking would help grow my business services company. I even posted online ads through both mediums. I eagerly entered this new online world with high hopes for future business and personal connections. These endeavors were the future - I had entered the Internet 2.0 edition.

Questioning the importance came slowly, yet my gut told that there were issues. Out of the hundreds of clients over eight years in business, not one client told me they found out about my company through social media. They may have reviewed my resume, yet we did not become introduced through a social media medium.

Another sense of doubt came from political commentary. I started reading memes or comments from the same people over and over again especially as an election approached. As fake news emerged, it became obvious that many of these postings were complete nonsense. Beyond accuracy, the postings insulted the reader, who believed differently.

As a part-time business instructor, I place considerable emphasis on entrepreneurship. I ask students how they will market their business to obtain new customers. The most common response is "I will blast my message all over social media." There you have it. The key to success in the digital age is to shout as loud as possible through our social mediums.

Marketing and sales channels come and go, yet one thing remains the same. Crafting messages that motivate people to improve their lives through your product produces new customers. People hate to receive shouts, yet they love conversations which improve their lives or companies.

When it comes to public policy, no one will change their voting choices by receiving insults. Am I going to change my ideas from the consistent shouting of someone I barely knew in high school? Let's think through what we post on social. If you do want to post political stuff, consider something with humor or thoughtfulness that may motivate someone to stop and consider another point of view.

There is a role for social media in business. Creating channels for branding, customer service, and product feedback is important for overall business development. However, the idea that your more you post, the more your business will grow is completely false. Marketing is complex. Branding, messaging, multiple channels, product quality, and reputation all contribute to new sales.

Social media can be fun to see vacation photos, reconnect with varied people, and be entertained. Let's wise up! There is no magic pill for marketing other than hard work. Outside of work, pick up the phone or meet people in person. You may be surprised, your personal network will be real instead of digital. Come on America, our true future awaits.

Do You Understand Keyword Research?

Do you understand how keyword research really works?

The first requirement to ranking in the search engines is to do keyword research and understand what makes a great keyword. It is important for site owners to know the difference between a not-so-good keyword and a good quality one, and how making a quality choice for your niche site will help you rank higher and faster for certain keywords.

I'll walk you through everything you need to know about keyword research to boost your website traffic and we'll discuss the following topics:

  • Introduction to Keywords
  • What to Look for in a Quality Keyword
  • Understanding Competition Versus Traffic
  • Finding Nuggets with the Alphabet Soup Technique
  • Building and Establishing Keyword Lists

Intuitive - definition: using (based on) what one feels to be true even without conscious reasoning instinctive.

Keyword research is intuitive... it's very important to put yourself in the searchers mindset and ask yourself "why is the person using this search term?"

Introduction to Keywords

Keyword - definition: words and phrases used by people in the search engines, Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc.. Keyword examples: how to ride a bike, how to make a casserole, increasing website traffic.

Many searches are not typed out but spoken or voice activated searches. Ex: "hey Google where's a Home Depot near me".

Your focus is to put your website in front of the people who are searching for terms within your niche by learning which words and phrases people are searching for in the search engines. Also determining which words or phrases would be easiest to get ranked within Google search results. This all starts with keyword research.

What To Look For in a Quality Keyword

What exactly is a quality keyword?

A search term that shows buyer or viewer search intent. A quality keyword is specific and direct and not too broad. Let's compare two different examples of types of keywords and see which would be the quality keywords and best to use.

Money, and boxes, might be keywords but they're not quality keywords because of their vagueness. Let's compare those to "make money online", or "cardboard moving boxes". Nice quality keywords are those that are specific or show a viewer search intent, and are the term they enter into the search bar.

Understanding Competition vs Traffic

The number in the traffic column of the keyword tool means the potential monthly visits to your website if you get ranked on the first search engine results page.

The QSR, or quoted search result, on the keyword tool is the number of competing websites ranked in Google looking for the first page ranking for that exact keyword.

Finding Keywords With the Alphabet Soup Technique

One of, if not the, best keyword finding techniques that can be taken advantage of today is the Alphabet Soup technique and it can really boost your efforts. This method of finding keywords for article writing ideas is an awesome tool to use every time because it will reveal hundreds of keywords from A-Z for you to check out and choose from.

By using this technique you can find the best quality keywords available. The alphabet soup keyword research method will provide you with more than enough good quality keywords.

There are FREE keyword tools online including Google's Keyword Planner Tool which serves two main purposes for those who want to get good rankings with the search engines and more visitors to your website through SEO (search engine optimization).

  1. To provide keyword ideas
  2. To give estimates of monthly search volumes for keywords

Since choosing quality keywords is such an important step in the SEO process, learning how to use and making use of a good keyword tool is essential.

You can enter into your search bar "alphabet soup technique - Wealthy Affiliate" and see the results. I'm sure that you'll love this method and will also see the depth of this method of keyword research.

Building and Establishing Keyword Lists

There are a variety of methods used to create and manage your keyword lists. It's a good idea to save your research lists for future reference to get article writing ideas, titles or sub-titles. Each list should be labeled with the websites domain name, dash, keyword researched. The traffic and number of competing sites on Google for that particular keyword or QSR should also be saved. The keyword tools that I've used have had a save option for your searches.

The free or trial account might not show very much information but a paid account will open up much more. The free versions are great to use, however, there are a lot more research results available to those that sign up for a paid account.

When you are creating your keyword list, let's say that you're researching for an article that you're writing and the main keyword is "increasing website traffic". You might research a handful of similar keywords. You would then save the list within the "increasing website traffic label".

All of the keyword tools that I've seen have had a "History" tab to click on that will reveal all of the previous keyword searches, however, that might not be available with the free accounts.

This Is What I Did

With a premium membership at Wealthy Affiliate you get to use the Jaaxy Enterprise Keyword Tool which is an awesome tool created by the wealthy affiliates themselves, Kyle and Carson. The total cost for the membership with Jaaxy averages out to only pennies-a-day.

There are any number of important tasks that need to be completed, even daily, hands on processes that can be very time-consuming. Investing such a small amount into a tool that can help you reap a great harvest is a no brainer and will really save time.

They say that it's important to have a keyword tool that can offer accurate traffic, competition, and domain insights into billions of keywords. With a keyword research tool you can quickly discover unique, hot and undiscovered by most keywords that you can use to drive your search engine optimization and pay-per-click campaigns to their limits.

Get Pumped About Personal Training Certification

Considering a personal training certification program? If so, you're on your way towards a rewarding career. "Receiving my BA and MS in exercise science, as well as my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT) certifications through the National Strength and Conditioning Association is without a doubt, the foundation of my career path and an immediate career in the fitness industry, "says Patrick M. Pilege, president of Optimum Fitness Inc., a booming Omaha, Nebraska corporate personal training company. "Having this education and certifications (NSCA is best in the field) assured me of having a successful career path in the industry of personal training and wellness."

Here are Coach Pilege's top three to-know about personal training certification:

1. Train your brain first.

"Multifaceted knowledge learned during the personal training certification process gave me a clear understanding of how the body functions and performances," notes Pilege. "This gave me the ability and confidence to develop programs and train individuals with very diverse ages, backgrounds and experience levels; including athletes, corporate executives, older adults with special considerations, such as Alzheimer's and muscular sclerosis, to post rehabilitative conditions such as hip replacements, spinal fusions and knee replacements. "

The consideration that goes into each personal training program is reflective of each population's life experiences, he continues. "For example, many corporate executives not only need fitness programs that can rejuvenate their bodies but also provide stress relief from the pressures of corporate America. much of the independence of living they may have lost due to illnesses or injury. "

2. Pump up your networking and business skills.

"Another importance facet of my career path can be related to the networking and contacts I made while undergoing my schooling at Creighton University [Omaha, NE]," says Pilege. "Many of the contacts made have been addressed in training clients, business contacts, mentors, and trusted sources of information spanning all areas of the personal training and fitness industry. be that one critical contact that opens a door to greater opportunity for them later in their career. "

3. Maintain a strict education regimen.

"When you are in the business of providing a service to the community it's important to assure the potential clients that they are getting the best training available for their money," notes Pilege. "Being able to show highly regarded credentials to the clients lets them know that you are qualified to meet their needs and there before, every client I meet gets a copy of my resume showing my education and certificates." Likewise, when Pilege hires trainers for Optimum Fitness, it requires a BA in exercise science or a related field and at least one NSCA or ACSM certification before he or she will even be considered for a position.

"I've found that people with a solid educational background and experience in the fitness field really have a passion for training and that competitive fire transfers to each client."

Feeling warm up now that you know what it takes to be a certified personal trainer? That's a good start, says Pilege, but the hard work has just begun. "I'm a firm believer that you can not fake it in this field and be a motivator - being a certified personal trainer is definitely one career path that involves passion."

Can I Really Make Money On The Internet

Many internet marketers would probably ask themselves this question at some time or other: "Can I really make money on the internet?" You may already have tried your hand at it or you now want to consider it. You would have heard people say that only 10% of those who get into it succeed. Some even say that it is only 5%. The point is if 5% or 10% can make it, how can you make sure that you are one of those?

It is a fact that some people make it. So you should be able to learn it from how these people are doing it, and there is no shortage of products that say they will teach you how to make money on the internet.

Easier said than done. The internet is a very noisy place. You can search the net on how to make money online and you will get many different possibilities. Then there will be this typical subscription box that will be on the page or float in telling you that you will get some information or tool for free that will tell you everything there is to know. Since, it is free, typically people will subscribe as they are interested in making money on the internet.

Now that you have subscribed, you will get an email to confirm that you asked to subscribe. This is a good thing as it helps avoid spam. You will only get information if you opt in. Then you are given access to some report or tool. There are good reports and there are rehashed reports. Assuming it is a good report, you learn something. If you are a complete newbie at this, you probably still will not know the next action. Typically, most tools handle only some specific aspect. If you needed such a tool, then you can use it and get value from it. If not, people will probably archive it somewhere in case they can use it in future. If you are a little familiar, you could take some action but still there will be some nagging questions. The question "Can I really make money on the internet?" arises again.

After you have opted in, you will then start getting emails. Some of these internet marketers are generous with the kind of information they provide and you can take some actions. It is only fair that for their contribution, they will send emails that promote certain products. Some of these pages are so good, that it can be difficult to resist purchasing the product immediately. Of course, there are testimonials but sometimes you wish there could a comparison with other products that you can see before you decide to purchase.

So you get the product. Unfortunately some of these sales pages read as if there is little or almost nothing you need to do to make money online. Whatever the sales page leads you to think, take note that there is work to be done. There are people who like what they read in the sales page and buy the product. After reading, some action will be required. You think that you will get to it later, but another exciting web page or email will appear in front of you, and the whole cycle begins again. Purchase the product and no action. Ask yourself "Can I really make money on the internet?" at this point in time. If no action is taken, there will be no money to be made.

To be fair, a lot of people take action, but they find that the product handles only one aspect of the whole internet marketing angle. You might get a whole bunch of freebies thrown in to help, but it is so difficult to get the whole thing to hang together. For some products, you will find help from forums, but many a time you really wish you had a mentor to what you can ask specific questions. Unfortunately there are even mentor programs that do not live up to expectations.

So to the question "Can I really make money on the internet?", The answer is "yes". The challenge is in finding a product or a program where information, guidance and tools are presented in a manner that is easy to follow. It will be much better if there is some kind of mentoring that you can get along with the rest of the stuff. With the products, actions and a bit of patience, you certainly should be able to make money on the internet.

Tricks On How To Succeed In Mobile Marketing

Tricks On How To Make Money In Mobile Marketing

One of the newest ways for businesses to be seen is mobile marketing. Take your time and learn about how to get your point across to customers.

For your mobile site, it's important to come up with ways to convey your information in as few words as possible. Sites that are packed with keywords and say nothing of value are unfavorable. In the mobile marketing universe, brevity is highly prized.

Your friends can help you by viewing ads, emails, and your website on their various mobile devices. If you can, hire a professional to test and improve your campaign.

Your mission statement will help you design the best campaign possible. Maintaining your principles is key to you being successful in your business plans.

Every successful mobile campaign should have a home base. Your mobile presence is dependent upon driving your customers to that base, or keeping contact with those who are already in contact with you. Remember that a mobile platform should be an extension of your existing marketing plan, not the center of it.

Make sure you send text messages at reasonable times. This can be an annoyance and turn-off for many consumers, no matter how much they enjoy your product.

Try and make your marketing campaign viral, as this is the greatest way to be successful. They could recommend it to friends and family, which will increase your customer base.

Offer your customers an option to leave feedback; this will help you improve your products and services. Regardless of a customer's opinion, you can always use feedback to improve your strategies.

When using mobile marketing, make your ads easy to send. Before you start your campaign, make sure that your ads are easy to forward. If you give people an incentive, they are even more likely to forward them.

Don't add SMS to a mobile marketing campaign unless you are willing to be totally honest with your customers about how many texts will be sent. Don't ever send texts to anyone unless they have specifically opted-in for that service. A poor implementation of an SMS campaign can have a drastically negative impact due to the fact that receiving SMS messages triggers alerts on mobile devices. Using this type of marketing can feel intrusive to your customers if you are not careful. So be sure customers can opt into our out of your SMS services when marketing and let them know how many texts will be sent regularly. Making promises and keeping them builds trust among your consumers.

Get a good understanding of your audience. Before diving head-first into any mobile marketing campaign, you want to know your money is well-spent by first understanding what preferences your audience has. Do they use their cellphones more than their computers? Which operating systems are in place on their phones? Your audience is sure to respond to a plan that was clearly designed for them.

Make sure your content is timely and interesting. You are understandably excited about mobile marketing, but you need to take the time to create content that fills a need. Approach things from your customers' perspective and send out messages they would judge as interesting. Fill the needs and wants of your customers to ensure that they stick with you and continue to buy your products.

Instead of using shared short codes, purchase dedicated ones. It can be a little pricey, about $2,000, but it can be linked to your brand. Before too long, there will be people who can recognize the short code you use. This added expense is well worth the legal protection it offers. You could be liable for the abuses of a code sharing company.

Always look for ways to better advertise your company, for new opportunities arise constantly. Know your competition and keep careful watch on their new directions. This article should have given you some ideas on how to keep a competitive edge in the innovative world of mobile marketing technologies.

How To Price Your ClickBank Product

Pricing Your Product - The Big Question ...

I used to think one of the biggest mistakes suppliers made was undervaluing their product. There was a common belief that if you charge less for your product you will sell higher volume. The Gurus say this theory may hold true when it comes to selling Big Mac's but will usually work against you if you try that with an online info product. Even one of my first mentors who is a highly successful Info Marketer once told me that the higher you price your product the more value people will perceive it to have. The old theory went: If you have a product that you feel is capable of changing someone's life or saving them thousands of dollars or making them thousands of dollars then paying $ 17.95 for example should not be an issue for your customers - the higher you price your product the more value people will perceive it to have.

Times have changed ... I have spent thousands on my formal education and it never really helped me become who I am today. Now to take this information that helped finally make my dreams come true and give me true freedom and happiness and charge only $ 17.95? That is practically giving it away. While the overcharge method used to work for me and others years ago I have found the only way to sell mass amounts of reports or eBooks right now is to over hype, undercharge and over deliver. Too many people have been burned by the $ 49.95 price tag - you need to charge around $ 17.95 and still offer at least 70% to affiliates. The low price / high volume fast food theory is back in style, so if you want sales go for volume! Since my whole system is based on having affiliates sell your products for you, you must be very generous to keep your affiliates happy. Always offer at least 70%!

I suggest that you start at $ 17.95 and get at least 50 visitors a day to your website so that you have an accurate conversion ratio. If you are only selling 1 in 100 or none at all bring your price down as low as $ 9.99. This is the price point that is working best for me right now. Five years ago $ 49.95 worked best for me but as I said before times have changed.

What Is a Marketing Plan?

Unfortunately, if you build it they will come not to apply to selling your product. Interested new customers in an unknown brand or product requires strategy. Read on to learn what is a marketing plan and how to outline yours.

Your marketing plan will help you assess customer demand, discover distribution channels and pinpoint the best ways to market your business.

Before starting to write, you need to do some market research. You can hire a firm to conduct your market research or do it yourself. Through this research you'll learn about your competitors, customers, market and your product. Your goal is to know as much as possible about your product's world. Once you understand that, it's time to work on your marketing plan.

What is a marketing plan ? A marketing plan is the road map to how your product will move out into the world. Not only will it lay out what you want to accomplish, but it will also explain how you plan to achieve your goals.

Your marketing plan will consist of 9 parts:

Executive summary: No matter what kind of plan I'm writing, I like to write the summary last. Your summary should contain the most important points from each section, capture the reader's attention and be polished to perfection.

Company: This is where you explain what your company stands for. Use it to introduce yourself as owner and outline your company's goals and values.

Product: Tell the reader about your product, including what makes it unique, superior or more in demand than your competitors' products. Back your statements up with hard facts.

Customers: Use this section to describe your target customers. One of the easiest ways to do this is simply imagine your ideal customer. Describe her life and what she wants from a product like yours.

Competitors: This section outlines who else is trying to reach your customers and what competitive advantages they have.

Delivery: How will your customers acquire your product? Will they buy it in a retail store, order it from a catalog or buy it directly from you online or in person?

Reach: Here is where you explain how you will reach your customers. Plan your budget for each medium and how much time you will spend on each.

Handling challenges: New business challenges arise all the time, but if you're prepared you can overcome them. Outline some roadblocks you could face and how you will handle them.

Pricing: This section lets you explain your product pricing strategy. Outline the cost of your product, your profit margin and your retail and wholesale prices. If your price is higher or lower than others in your niche, explain you rationeale.

Your business plan will change with the life of your business. As customers' tastes change, new competitors enter the market and old ones retire, you'll need to update your plan.

Choose a refresh date 6 months in the future to evaluate your plan: what worked, what did not and what new directions do you want to take.

Now that you know what is a marketing plan I hope you'll start writing your own. While having a plan will not guarantee sales, it will help you set yourself up to meet your goals.

4 Simple Ways to Make More Money Through Content Marketing

Can you really make money by simply giving out information online? Hmmm .. interesting question. 5 years ago, I was one of the skeptics. I did not really believe that by sharing what I know to people online, I can make money more than what I made from my regular day job. Sounds impossible, right? But it's one reality in the World Wide Web. One can easily expect huge paychecks by helping people increase their knowledge on their areas of expertise. Excited to get started? Then, make money now by simply knowing the following facts:

First, you can use content marketing to drive qualified prospects to your website. This is the most obvious way to make money using their strategy in the online arena. Hundreds and thousands of internet marketers are actually using this as their primary traffic-generating tool. The process is pretty simple; write articles with resource box where you can include your site's URL and distribute them online. You can also build your own blog, create posts, and again, insert the link to your website. You can write newsletters or publish your own ezine as well to promote awareness. If your readers were extremely happy with the information you gave out and with the quality of your content, they're certainly asking for more. That want will push them to your website.

Sell reports. You do not have an idea as to how many people are more than happy to spend money to learn something. The Economic Climate Pushing Forward Internet Marketing

The current economic climate has led to businesses, both big and small, having to tighten their belts accordingly and this has led to a noticeable shift towards a greater online presence.

Businesses are now more aware that they have to try every possible form of advertising, within their budget, in order to try to generate extra awareness of their business, and of course, generate more income which could be vital to their survival. Internet advertising can be the main driving force for this for so many business owners around the globe. Little work can provide them with 24/7 advertising to a large number of potential customers.

Businesses are also more aware that the public have a greater need of finding the best possible deals wherever possible. Having your own website and being able to promote those offers of 10% off or 3 for the price of 2 can suddenly make you more attractive to a potential customer who normally may have walked past your business. This does not only have to apply to shops in your local High Street but also to various trades such as builders or glaziers.

Business owners have to start taking real advantage of the greatest internet phenomenon of recent times in the form of social networking. The vast majority of towns and cities around the world shall have some form of link to these websites and a number have groups directly linked. Businesses have to try to connect directly with people within their local area by making profiles, searching out people who are in their target market, and join or create groups and invite people there. If you have a beauty salon for example then actively look for women in your area and let them know what you are about. Add them as friends, invite them to your specially created group. It is free and you are marketing directly to those who are most likely to use your business. People can spend less than 30 minutes per day helping to promote their business through this method.

You only have to look at the numbers of profiles on the main social networking sites to realize its potential just waiting to be unlocked.

You are also probably aware of the numerous comments from various institutions who are concerned with helping Joe Public through these times however what is more important is to help businesses. If a business receives no help in trying to increase revenue then there is less need to help Joe Public as there are less businesses to service his needs.

Now is no longer the time to offer new advertising avenues at extortionate rates but instead to find ways to promote business and also to help the public be more aware of special offers. There is still sufficient money out there waiting to be spent for more people to survive but there is apprehension and fear. This can be eased through businesses working together and utilizing everything at their disposal. The days of spending ¤100's of pounds or $100's of dollars on a single advert are gone. The dawn of low cost yet effective advertising is upon us.

Ancient Memes and the Keys to Social Media Success

What makes for a social media success? What critical elements must be in place for the site to come alive? Today I am exploring some ideas I've been considering and I'd really appreciate your feedback. Please note, the following thoughts have never been committed to print before and have only been edited lightly - I didn't want to crush the creative spark that often shows up in such things. So without further ado, here they are:

--- Is Technology Key?

The first thing I'm asked about Social Media usually relates to the technology. I 'get' this, I understand we think the tool is what makes the solution. It is, and it isn't. Consider this, if technical wizardry was responsible for social success then why do nerd and geeks seem to have the worst social-life in school? It's true the nerds built the web and Internet infrastructure, but it was the rest of the world that made it social.

--- The Engagement Factor

The site needs to engage the visitor. Actually with the advent of social media sites, we should stop calling people 'browsers' or 'visitors' because they're now active participants in the web experience. Social media sites are interactive and include blogs, voting mechanisms, posting features for text, video and audio, message boards, forums, chat groups, and site-wide private messaging to name some common features.

Remember, the key here is not technology, but how the tool is used by the site members. "The best tool is often not the most advanced or cleverest tool. The best tool is the tool that is understood and gets used daily." This is why email is still the #1 web application.

--- Mass and Momentum

There are many "social ghost towns" littering the web, why is this? Each is likely different, however I have noted the successful sites are like engines: they need a spark - an injection of energy - to get them started.

This initial injection of energy is required to create momentum and gain the first critical members which in turn attracts more members and keeps the system growing. It snowballs, and like a snowball it's fragile and prone to crumbling in the early stages of that fateful first roll.

Ironically, the tool that allows us to forge out and create our own online communities doesn't allow us to break the laws of human nature. These communities still need to render qualities that 'real world' environments provide - if only in a psychological aspect.

Review history, it has the answers to the fate of little communities; they got swept away by marauders and ultimately rolled into bigger cities. Sound familiar?

--- Ancient Memes and Mind Viruses

But is that all a successful social media site needs? A group of people and some cool technology - NO. The most important factor is much older and far simpler and lies buried deep within our primitive nature. Success is locked up in something called a meme, or if you prefer a more dramatic image, a "mind virus."

Richard Dawkins introduced the concept of the "meme" and "memetics" in his book 'The Selfish Gene' referring to the imitative process whereby humans transmit ideas, values, beliefs, and practices to each other. The memes that catch on are conditioned by repetition and continued by subsequent generations.

Examples of memes are tunes, ideas, catch-phrases, clothes fashions, ways of making pots or of building arches. Just as genes propagate themselves in the gene pool, so memes propagate themselves in the meme pool by a process similar to how an infection spreads - ergo a mind virus.

But why did I mention ancient memes? Simply because I believe the most successful social sites leverage our oldest most ancient memes as well as our newest, and this allows us to embrace these base natures in a socially acceptable and even productive fashion. Consider how many social sites pander to aspects of our natures that as children we were discouraged from participating in: gossiping, time-wasting, forming cliques and more.

I'm not saying social sites succeed because we want to express our darker nature, but those sites that have gained the most momentum have done so by allowing us free rein over our basic human nature.

Something to consider isn't it?

People have won lots of money online and have had to make a living of it. I am not talking about having to gamble online. I am talking about winning real cash online. It takes a little time for research and the clicking on the right links.

Job referral programs like the ReferEarns are programs that offer you the possibility of winning money without actually spending or having to sell anything. What you need is to invest a little time. You will need to send a job adds to your friends. This will enable you to earn points that are paid out in cash if your referrals join the programs. Most online working platforms like oDesk.com pay cash for referrals. Referral programs have been a most common way of paying out cash by many companies. It has also become an online tool.

One other way to win money online by exposing your skills. There are websites like eHow and HubPages that pay you depending on the number of content that you write and how much clicks you receive from viewers. Here you are not selling anything. All you need is to blog in a area where you feel the pull of passion. There are affiliate programs that will pay you for just anything you write. Starting your blog can be an exciting thing, where you blog is important because it can be a way of earning cash for you. Google ad-sense is one such program that pays content writers for the traffic that flow into their pages. However, you'll need a lot of patience to develop your content and draw traffic to it. You can also win money through legitimate online contests like writing contests. There are many companies offering online contests and games that bring in lots of winning surprises. You may come up with exorbitant cash prizes if you play such games skillfully.

Although it is easy to make money through the internet, one should be very careful with spammers who populate the cyber-space. You've not been surprised getting emails from unknown sources indicating that you've won a certain exorbitant sum of money for a Bill Gate's program or some such stuff. People easily get scammed this way. It is also worthwhile noting that this is not about online gambling where lots of risks are put into play. It is important to verify if you are entering a trusted site. Although you can win money online without investing anything, there is a need for patience and systematic search for the right websites.

5 Ways Anyone Can Start Making Money Online As Soon As Today

A lot of people ask this question all the time.

"How do I make money online quickly?"

My answer is generally, "You don't!" You have to work for it to make it happen.

But, the truth is, there are a few ways to make money rather quickly and even as soon as today.

Here are just 10 of ways to make money online in no specific order...

1. Sell something on Ebay. It "almost" doesn't matter what it is. Maybe it's something old you have lying around the house. Heck as long as you're honest and say what it is you're selling, you can make money on there. There are people on eBay right now selling, of all things, "Broken Cell Phones!" Yes people even buy broken stuff.

2. Blog for money. Blogging has become so popular and important in the eyes of the search engines that you can now get paid to, blah blah, I mean write about things you like, don't like or stuff you know about. PayPerPost.com is the place to go.

3. Sell your services. With the sheer number of freelancer websites out there, if you have a skill someone needs, SELL IT!

Here are places you can go to sell your services. Elance: http://www.Elance.com Rent A Coder: https://ift.tt/15FDToI Script Lance: https://ift.tt/Nbdcd9 Guru: http://www.Guru.com Writer Lance: https://ift.tt/2vgASdY Workaholics 4Hire: https://ift.tt/1GS8grR

4. Sell other peoples products. It's called affiliate marketing and it's a term you'll hear bandied around the internet quite a bit. But... the fact is, affiliate marketing is growing in the billions of dollars of revenue and income made on the internet. Go to any major "affiliate network" or big ecommerce website like Target.com and you can find an affiliate signup link somewhere on the page. There, you sign up to become a reseller of their products and they give you a percentage of the sale. You've just become their freelance or remote sales force. All you have to do is use online advertising methods such as Pay Per Click using Google AdWords or something similar and you can use it to sell other peoples' products through your "affiliate link" by placing small "classified like" ads on their pay per click network. A person sees the ad, they click to the website you're advertising and if they buy, you get paid! Even if you make as little as $50 a day, that's a nice start and heck, it can pay your bills. Remember you have to invest money in your advertising but would you spend $200 a month to make $1,500? Of course you would!

5. Start your own website. This is probably the most difficult one of these but it really isn't difficult once you know the steps you need to take in order to accomplish it. I can't possibly explain them all in detail here but, I can give you a quick list.

* Get a domain name.

* Get a website hosting account.

* Get an Autoresponder. You will need one to collect the names and email addresses of your customers and/or visitors.

* Get an HTML editing software like Microsoft Frontpage or a free one like NVU

* Get FTP software. FTP means File Transfer Protocol and it is the best method to transfer files on to your website hosting account. These are files like webpages and such. Filezilla is a great free choice for the beginner.

* Get a way to process credit cards. You can start our with Paypal and even expand your business using all of their services. It's free to join, fast and secure for you and your customers.

* Create a digital product, get the resale rights to one or sell a physical product. It really doesn't matter as long as it's something there is a need or a want for.

* Put up a page selling your product.

* Advertise and send traffic to your website.

* Collect your Money and follow-up with your customers!

I know that last one was a bit overly simplistic, but like I said, "It's way too much to get into here."

Keep in mind that these are just 5 among the dozens of other ways to make money online. Take action and change your life!
